Autumn tea time

Anche se Settembre è stato bellissimo e più caldo del normale, ahimè ( per me),  l'autunno è già qui e presto ci farà venire anche voglia di accoccolarci sul divano, magari in compagnia di una tazza di tè.

Ma quando il tè si prende a tavola, con la teiera vicino, è una cosa molto carina avere un tea cozy, ovvero uno scalda teiera che tenga il tè in caldo.

Un oggetto molto usato all'estero, un po' meno conosciuto qui da noi, ma per fortuna si comincia a vedere più spesso.

Hallo! Here in Italy summer started late but lasted longer than usual.

September is finished and unfortunately Autumn is here.. but one of the nice things of this season is tea time.

When you take tea sitting at the table, it's nice to have a tea cozy, too.

Stefania di Adg Maison mi ha chiesto di realizzarne un paio, a mio completo gusto, per il suo delizioso negozio a Bassano del Grappa (VI), di cui ho parlato qui.

Beh, quando mi danno carta bianca è il massimo :-))

E come sempre il primo pensiero sono state case, casette, un soggetto che mi piace sempre.

She gave me total freedom, which I love the most.

My very first thought was about houses and so I made houses :-)

 Uno con strisce bianco/natural, rosso e azzurro ( che ormai lo sapete, è il mio abbinamento preferito da forse un  paio di anni).

One with natural/white stripes, red and light blue ( a match I adore, you know).

L'altro con strisce bianco/ azzurro polvere e ancora rosso.

The second one with french blue/white stripes and again red.
