Ecco come era..
The internet is a bit naughty recently. After two days I managed to put photos in Blogger. Here I am today with another "shabbization"..this piece of furniture which contained an old sewing machine belongs to my family. I had already decorated it in an ethnic style years ago. Now it needed to be bleached..I used a biological product to tear away paint and had to put it lots of times and made efforts to rub it away..but finally I got it!
Here is how it was
and here is how it's now..

it's perfect for holding this old sewing machine I bought in a flea market..a wonderful, smart german machine from Dresden company Seidel & Naumann..it dates back to the end of 1800 or beginning of 1900, I adore it because it's so simple..no heavy gold arabesques..

this mother-of-pearl decoration is not good anymore but it's so nice.

here you can see two creations by my fiancèe. he not only likes cooking but also DIY sometimes..here are two big bottles a friend of us gave him..Vittorio decorated them with hempen cord and braids..arent' they nice??
