Stitchery e un sorriso

L'ho finito qualche tempo fa ma lo posto solo ora: questo è il mio primitive sal di Luglio, organizzato da Lizzie (lizziebusy nei miei preferiti). Lo schema così colorato ed estivo mi ha suggerito una versione a più colori in stile stitchery australiano, realizzata sulla stoffa "shabby" che avete visto nello scorso post. Un insieme fresco ed estivo, lontano dallo stile primitive ma d'altronde secondo me questo stitchery ha uno stile che non è esattamente primitive.

That is my July primitive SAL ..I finished it some days ago but post it right now. Since pattern seemed to me rather fresh and colorful, I decided to stitch it with australian style, with different colors for threads but no color inside..I stitched it on my shabby fabric, the one you saw last time. It' s not as much primitive, but I think it's good for this period.

Ed ecco come l'ho finito: un cuscinetto cucito sul dritto..con filo di ferro sbiancato..la finitura è decisamente primitive!

Questa invece è la piastrella che ho creato per il PAT di Marzia, per il blog benefico Regaliamo un sorriso (link qui a fianco). Purtroppo la stoffa, il cotone Ikea, si sfilaccia un pò e quindi spero le misure vadano bene lo stesso e riescano ad assemblarlo bene. Il tema era il cuore, ho fatto un appliquè a macchina con lino grezzo, ispirato a dei cuori di un libro giapponese.
