periodo rosa?

Oggi è stato come Natale per me! Sono arrivate ben due buste da lontano, una da molto molto lontano, dall'altra parte del mondo! La prima è stata quella di Christine, una gentilissima blogghina della Tasmania con cui scambio e-mail e commenti. Tempo fa le avevo detto che mi era piaciuta la rivista australiana di stitchery che aveva postato. Beh, sapete cosa ha fatto??? mi ha chiesto l'indirizzo e me l'ha spedita!! già non mi pareva vero, un gesto bellissimo, ma di certo non mi aspettavo che, aprendo la busta, avrei anche trovato queste stupende stoffine!!!!! Mi ha scritto nel suo bel biglietto che sta facendo stash cleaning e quindi ha voluto regalarmi queste stoffe che non sono più di suo gusto, sperando io le apprezzassi..conosce i miei gusti e per me infatti sono bellissime!!

Insomma, è stata una sorpresa stupenda..e che dire della rivista?? splendida, cone gran bei progetti..penso mi abbonerò se è possibile!!

Today I received two envelopes from afar..it was like Christmas day! the first one is from Christine, who is a very kind Tasmanian blogger I exchange comments and mails with. A few weeks ago I told her I liked the stitchery magazine she posted. She decided to send me a copy!! I was happy, but never imagined she would add some wonderful fabrics in the envelope!! I was so surprised and glad! She said she did stash cleaning and wanted me to have fabrics I could like. I like them so much, thank you dear Christine!! you're great.



La seconda è il primo PIF che ricevo, è da parte della mia amica norvegese Marit. Me lo aveva spedito venerdì e oggi è arrivato! quando l'ho aperto mi sono commossa come una bambina..mi ha fatto un bellissimo mini-pannello a punto croce, con uno stupendo schema di JJ che adoro..ma soprattutto ha scritto una frase che ha creato per me "welcome to my contry nest"..che meraviglia!!! pensare al lavoro che ci ha messo (dio solo sa quanto sono lunghi gli schemi di JJ, con tutto quel punto scritto per i contorni!!) e a come lo ha personalizzato mi ha davvero riempito di gioia. Grazie, mia cara Marit!! Come ti ho scritto, lo appenderò nella mia craft room e lo guarderò pensando a te e al tuo splendido paese in cui spero di tornare presto.

The second envelope is my very first PIF that I received from Marit , my norwegian friend. When I opened it I was deeply moved as if I was a child. She made this gorgeous little wall-hanging with a cross stitch embroidery. The scheme she used is from JJ, which I adore, but the sweetest thing is that she stitched a special sentence for me:"welcome to my country nest". Thinking about the time it took to her to do that and about the personal words she stitched for me made me so happy!!! Thank you, my dear friend..as I told you I'm going to hang it in my craft room. I'm going to think about you and your wonderful land every time I am in.

Dopo tante emozioni, ho trovato lo slancio per finire questa borsina che ho fatto per la mia cara amica Laura. Lei adora Hallo Kitty e i gadgets rosa in stile japan così ho pensato di farle questa..alla fine è così zuccherosa che non so se avrà il coraggio di metterla..vi saprò dire!!!

Today I finished this pink, japan-gadgets style bag for my dear friend Laura. It is so sugary that I don't know if she is brave enough to wear it, I will tell you!

In realtà quasto cagnolino che sogna l'osso, che adoro e che è in un libro japan, lo avevo già fatto per questa borsina..periodo rosa?? oddio, non credo!! il rosa continua a non piacermi granchè, ma queste sono stoffe molto spente e anticate e mi piacciono. Metterò questa borsina nel mio shop su dawanda.

I have already made an appliquè with this sweet dog dreaming of a bone. It is in a japan bags book. Unbelievably another pink bag..don't worry, I still think pink is not my color but I like these "old-style" fabrics. I'm going to put this small bag in my Dawanda shop.

Non voglio essere noiosa o ripetitiva, ma oggi ho avuto l'ennesima conferma di quanto è stupendo questo mondo "virtuale" dove conosci a volte gente pessima, ma più spesso gente splendida e molto reale, anche se distante!!

Today I had another confirmation that the internet is a wonderful place where you can find bad people, but also gorgeous and real people!!
